These migraines, accompanied by numbness in half of her body, prompted her to seek a solution to her stress-related health issues. She discovered the power of journaling and started with "The Artist's Way," leading to a complete overhaul of her stress management and overall well-being.
Katie's migraines ceased after a month of journaling, and she hasn't experienced one in two years. She emphasizes that journaling doesn't need to be a time-consuming, three-pages-a-day practice, and she's become a transformational coach to help others find their unique journaling methods.
Katie's podcast, "Abundantly Aware," focuses on the importance of awareness as the first step toward personal transformation. She believes that journaling, meditation, and mindfulness can help individuals discover a different way of living, free from societal pressures and external expectations.
Journaling doesn't have to be a rigid practice. Katie suggests setting boundaries by releasing the pressure to write a certain amount or reach specific goals.
