- At the front of the engine, use a ½” socket to remove the nut and bolt securing the front of the transmission lines. Remove the bracket from the lines.
- Proceed to remove both old transmission lines from the vehicle. Use a flat-blade screwdriver or pliers to remove the two metal clips securing the old transmission lines together.
- To start the installation of your new LinesToGo stainless steel transmission lines, begin by installing the line labeled “A” into position. Hand-tighten the threaded fitting into the rear port of the transmission.
- Next, install the LinesToGo line labeled “B” into position, hand-tightening the threaded fitting into the front port of the transmission.
- Secure the two transmission lines together using the metal clips removed earlier.
- Replace the metal bracket onto the new LinesToGo transmission lines and secure the nut and bolt using a ½” socket.
- Connect the two rubber hoses to the new transmission lines. The short hose going to the passenger side bottom of the radiator connects to the line labeled “B,” while the other hose connects to the line labeled “A.”
- Use pliers to secure the spring clip on the rubber hoses.
- At the transmission, use a ½” wrench to tighten both transmission fittings.
- If the right front wheel was removed, replace it using a 19-millimeter socket and torque it to the manufacturer's specifications.
- Reconnect both batteries using a ½” wrench.
- With the vehicle running in park on a flat, level surface, check the transmission fluid level and top it up as required.
