Begin by placing both BC547 transistors on the breadboard. These transistors have three pins collector, base, and emitter.

Connect the base of the second transistor to the emitter of the first transistor.

Attach the LED to the breadboard with the positive terminal connected to the positive rail and the negative terminal linked to the collector of the second transistor via the 270-ohm resistor.

Join the 100 KOhm resistor between the collector of the first transistor and the positive rail.

Connect the emitter of the second transistor to the ground.

Add two metallic conductors one to the collector of the first transistor and the other to the base of the first transistor.

The touch switch's operation is intriguing When you touch both metal wires with your finger, the LED lights up. This occurs because when you touch the metal wires, current flows from the 100KOhm resistor to the base of the first transistor, which amplifies it. This amplified current is then sent to the base of the second transistor, where it is further magnified before reaching the LED. In this way, the tiny current passing through the metal wires when you touch them gets magnified approximately 200 times, lighting up the LED.
