To ensure unitholders understand how to cast their votes effectively, a comprehensive guideline is provided. The guide outlines the steps to take based on three categories of unitholders those holding units in a CDP account, a CPFIS or SRS account, or via a bank or broker.

CDP Account Holders Fill in the proxy form with your name, NRIC, and address. Leave the middle section blank if you intend to attend the AGM. Only fill in the middle section if you plan to proxy someone else to attend, and indicate the percentage if unsure. Sign and date the form. The "Total number of units held" box can be left blank. Mail the proxy form by Tuesday, April 18th, or scan and email it by Friday, April 21st. If attending the AGM in person, bring your ID card, and the previously submitted proxy form will be invalidated.
CPFIS or SRS Account Holders Fill in the proxy form and deliver it to your agent bank's branch. If you intend to attend the AGM in person, contact your bank and request to be appointed as a proxy. Ensure you reach out to the bank by Wednesday, April 12.
Bank or Broker Account Holders Contact your bank or broker and instruct them to vote against resolution 4.

It's important to note that unitholders previously voted against a lowball offer to merge Sabana REIT with ESR REIT in December 2020. Since then, unit holders have seen their investments grow by more than 50 percent.
